The Premier Forum for Artificial Lift Technologies across North America
Welcome to the Canadian Artificial Lift 2021 Exhibition and Conference where oil and gas exploration and production companies will meet artificial lift systems and service providers in Calgary, Alberta to explore the next generation of artificial lift technologies and techniques for use in tight oil and liquids-rich formations in Alberta, BC, and Saskatchewan.
The rise in number of mature fields and aging oil and gas wells is estimated to boost the demand for artificial lift systems with the market expected to reach USD 10.3 billion by 2025. In the current oil price environment, production optimization is the leading factor as operators seek cost-effective solutions by adopting efficient and reliable artificial lift methods for wells across North America.
New artificial lift systems such as ESPs, Gas Lift, Plunger Lift, PCPs, Hydraulic Piston Pumps and others can handle a wider range of volumes, allow for simpler installations, and work efficiently at variable depths and deviated wells. Operators are looking for system that can operate in low-formation pressures, high temperatures, corrosive environments, high GORs, with telemetry limitations, and offer multiple power sources which are the key factors in evaluating their suitability for wells to enable shale operators to remain competitive, particularly in Canada’s Liquids-Rich formations.
The key focus for this year’s Artificial Lift 2021 conference will be to achieve optimum production at the lowest cost, and the objective will be to bring shale operators and service companies together with leading artificial lift engineers and experts to collaborate and examine end-user case studies, low-cost and effective artificial lift systems, and to address the challenges operators face in the post-pandemic oil and gas market.
Key topics on this year’s agenda include:
- Making an economic assessment for artificial lift systems
- Reducing costs and optimizing production with the right techniques
- Maximizing pump efficiencies and minimizing failure rates of artificial lift systems
- New optimization techniques in producing from deeper and more complex wells
- Well site automation and downhole monitoring solutions for measured results
- End-user operator case studies and developing a successful artificial lift program
This exhibition and conference will provide a forum for all stakeholders from artificial lift systems manufacturers and contractors, to well servicing companies and major E&Ps, to network and build cross-market relationships and to discuss the latest advances in artificial lift systems for use in unconventional oil and gas wells across North America.
